Should I settle on debt that is past SOL?

I had a Victoria's Secert account that went into default in 1998
and has sense been removed from my credit file, However today
I recieved an "OFFER" in the mail from GFS/NCO to settle this debt
the SOL in my state is 3 and 5 years so it is also expired should I be
worried about them trying to relist this on my credit report?
They offered me a "pearl card" mastercard, anyone have expirence with this?
If I accept the offer which has alot of fine print wouldn't that reage the account and
have it relisted?

The original debt can never be listed on your report again. It is past CRTP and that will never change now.

If it is past SOL, you are not legally responsible for the debt.

If you are going to pay this, I would pay it in full and be done with it. I wouldn't accept any card a CA offered.
