Should I take 50% deal with Amex Charge offs

Got offer from Amex to accept 50% on the charged off accounts. Should I take the offer. I am too old to pay in full and get an Optima and rebuild relationship with Amex. Not sure if I should take the offer for 50% or wait and pay in full and get the Optima and start over again.

Is the debt still within the SOL?

You only need to have an Optima for a year. If you PIF, you won't need one and can get back in probably sooner.
