I have two derogatories left on my CR. I've been rather successful using goodwill letters and I'm wondering whether I should try it with these last 2. AMEX is a CO with a last reported 9/2002 on Experian. TU and EQ show nothing. The other is Capitol One. Last reported 5/2003. It's a CO as well. Experian shows 1 30 day late, 1 60 late, and 4 90 day late.
How bad are these affecting my score and is it worth my while to try goodwill letters? Both of these happened becasues I was laid off in April 2002. My scores are TU 685, EQ 685, and EX 683.
