I'vd learned a lot through this forum, and I've regained good credit score again.
I am not sure I should put my efforts to delete this record.
I heard from other users that they are having a tough time with BOA.
SInce Experian credit score comming out 767, I don't have problem with credit score.
If I can get rid of this record, would it make the score higher?
When was it CO'd? From what I get it was in 2007, does that sound right? It should be excluded sometime next year.
It could hurt your score if it was one of your oldest accounts. But I would perfer a clean report over the loss of AAoA.
Start sending GW letters and ask them to remove it.
I appriciate the advice.
If I remember correctly, I paid in full at that time, I believe that is why it shows OK on last payment.
It says it was transferred to another lender so I am a little confused to.
I would just send out a GW letter and see if they will remove it.
I am confused now.
Maybe, I paid to collection agency, not to BOA directly.
I cannot find record for this. I had multiple CO, and other CO records has been cleard after I paid the debt, except this one.
But I am sure I paid for all the debt that I had.
Well, you don't owe them either because it was sold or paid to a CA. Either way try for a GW deletion.
