Remember to print them out, or save them on your computer, because you only have them for one day.

Yes, they are much more comprehensive than anything obtained commercially.

Yeah because something doesn't seem right with the way the accounts are reading based on OP's posts.

And thanks for adding the 'print or save' note!

Re: Still trying to rebuild

I am pulling my reports directly from equifax, experian and transunion.

Correction. Only experian says paid/closed. Listed under closed accounts. (The balances are as I listed in my original post)

Transunion has them listed under revolving accounts and shows they're charged off. (The balances are as I listed in my original post)

Equifax has them listed negative closed accounts. NOTE Also shows all the Midland and portfolio under negative closed accounts, not under the collections tab. (The balances are as I listed in my original post)

Sorry for the confusion. It's all overwhelming.

Please pull your reports from annualcreditreport.com and print them out as prevously suggested.

1)  It will be much easier for you to read through them.

2)  The web-based versions can sometimes be misleading/confusing because of the way the user-friendly fluff software reads and displays the raw report data.  The ones from annualcreditreport are like the paper reports in a PDF version -- no fluff software interference.

Re: Still trying to rebuild

You might as well print them.

I was able to download my reports----but print them out to assure yourself that you have the reports in front of you.

Yea -- viewing them on your computer screen is totally fine too.  I just find that when I'm trying to make sense of a mess, printing and having it in front of me as a hard copy makes it easier -- this way I can highlight, make notes, whatever -  to each is own though so do whichever works best for you, OP!

Re: Still trying to rebuild

Moreover, you could keep the hard copy for your records, as a supplement for if your computer goes down, and you need to submit the reports somehow.

I'm a firm believer in having "analog" supplements to "digital" things----because "digital" things have a way of going down at the worst possible times.

Re: Still trying to rebuild

When I got my mortgage, everything was on the computer.  But I had a hard copy of everything, too.

I'm always scared that some virus might erase my files----even if I backed them up.
