So I had a judgement from Nelson & Kennard for a $2,500.00 debt owed to ford. Well I finally paid them off in July 2016 and they mailed me a Satisfaction of Judgement form. Well I filed a dispute with each credit agency, selected the option stating "I am no longer responsible for this debt", and submitted the form as proof. Each agency took almost 30 days to review the dispute, but once completed, the judgement was removed from each report. Just thought I'd share. I know there is a guide out there that tells you what you need to do but this seems to have done the trick.
