@Anonymous You have gave me motivation. I just paid off an old Charged Off credit card with NFCU. They immediately stated I was able to apply to any products now but I wanted to wait for the charge off to update as paid in full to the CRA as well as the other cards I paid off. All of my updates will be complete at the end of October. I want to refinance my auto loan from a little over 9% and cut it in half and apply for one of their cards.
What year is the car you refinanced?
It is a 2015 Grand Cherokee. Be good to NFCU and they return the favor. Best of luck!!!!!
@Anonymous
How many months is your new loan term?
60 months which is 5 months more than the amount of time we had on our original loan (we got the car used in 2019)
@Anonymous
Thanks I bought a new 2018 in 2018 and I have 48 months left on my current loan with a $350/month payment and I now pay an additional $200 extra/month. In theory, I would like to qualify for 60 months and less than 5% interest to lower my monthly payment (for DTI purposes) and lower interest rate. I will continue to pay my current monthly payment amount and my extra towards principle balance if I can get the 60 months.
Congratulations
Congrats man! That's good!
