Time Warner Cable - Can They Recall Collection??

So how would one go about getting the CA to remove the TL in the event that payment is accepted by the OC (in this case, Time Warner)? I ask because my hubs has a TL entry from Credit Protection Associates for an old Bright House/Time Warner account that we'd like to have off, as we'd like to try to buy a house soon.

You would have to send them a GW letter asking them to delete it.

i am having a similar time warner issue. numerous PFD letters sent to CA, and no response. does anybody still have that CEO email floating around, or any other email that could get some action? this is my only derog. thanks!

I ended up calling them directly since they didn't respond to Pfd letter. They were very friendly and were willing to do a pay for delete (in full) over the phone. They were not willing to put pay in full for deletion in writing, but they they verbally committed to it and lived up to their word and deleted it. It took a few weeks for the deletion to process. Just make sure a manager/supervisor approves it and ask them to put detailed notes in their computer log. They have that ability.

They were very professional for a collection agency.
