After doing a ton of research, I bit the bullet and asked for early exclusion on a USAA account, through TU's online process. I selected "other" and wrote "I do not dispute the accuracy of the information listed in the tradeline. I kindly request early exclusion for this account". I also asked for a few incorrect address and incorrect work spellings to be deleted at the same time.
Many on this board have noted that the effect is instant. However, I submitted this on 2/21/23 and it shows "in process" with an estimated completion date of 3/23/23. I am freaking out. Anyone else have this issue?
I recently did an EE with them and it took them at least a good 10 days or more (don't remember exactly).... I actually got an alert on my credit reports several days before hearing anything from them, so.... I know the waiting can be frustrating but hang in there.
That makes me feel better. I was afraid I did something wrong. Thanks so much for the response!
I definitely will. Thanks!

I used "this account is old.... asking for An EE ..This is not a dispute " Went 5 EEs for 5 ..with instant removals .. keep it short may help
I had this same issue, did EE request and it took around 2 weeks but they did remove it. Hang tight, it might be that they have a lot of requests to work through. I got a 33 point jump in my FICO 8. Worth the wait.
Thanks so much for the response. The wait is scary!
It was same day for me. You select dispute and then too old. So not sure what process you went through with "not a dispute".
After a ton of research, I selected "other" as it technically isn't a dispute. I went with the advice of many others. If I run into issues, I will call and ask for an EE, but not for a "dispute".
