TransUnion considers it a dispute, which is why the option for too old is listed under dispute. You're basically waiting for someone to manually remove it. Had you gone through dispute, it would have been almost instant. I just did 3 of them.
My friend actually did one that was last weekand was well within the (6) month period. It wasn't instantly removed. They had to call to have it pushed through. It's not the same way for everyone, unfortunately...

I selected "other" and wrote "I do not dispute the accuracy of the information listed in the tradeline. I kindly request early exclusion for this account". I also asked for a few incorrect address and incorrect work spellings to be deleted at the same time.
Many on this board have noted that the effect is instant. However, I submitted this on 2/21/23 and it shows "in process" with an estimated completion date of 3/23/23. I am freaking out. Anyone else have this issue?
Honestly what is maybe making it take longer than instant is the fact that you lumped the address dispute and incorrect work spellings in the same dispute. I did this as well and it took a while compared to the times I've done a dispute only for the tradeline in question.

I think you may be right. Thanks!
It seems completely random. I did some EE requests a month ago... had a couple baddies deleted with the others remaining for a little while longer. There was a 30 day difference in DoFD and it looks like TU sticks to their guns with the 6 month EE time... because mine that were 7 months out did not get removed.
It tells me my Ch 13 is set to fall off Jan 2024 so worst case I should be all clean by July.

July will be here before you know it. This system just really gets confusing. Thanks for the informative response!

No problem... and when I said "completely random" I was talking about the numerous posts I've seen about Ch 7 filers getting their PRs removed 2-3 years in advance. The Ch 7 is supposed to stay for 10... the Ch 13 is for 7 years but yet based on these posts some people are getting super lucky.

Shouldn't muddle request.. simply an EE .. leave others for a 2nd dispute

I did the same thing. Mine was still done within like 30 mins
