I received an offer by mail to settle my account for 50% of the balance due. I decided to call them and request a PFD over the phone and was told the following:
"We don't do that, you can pay off the account, we will update the account to show it is paid in full and then you can dispute it with the CRA"
The rep stated that she has heard where people have had their listings deleted before but they don't do it on their end it has to be disputed with the CRA. I'm a newbie, but i think I've read enough posts to know that they should be able to delete the TL if they want. I'm going to mail a PFD request today. I just thought I would try by phone. All suggestions from the community are greatly appreciated!!!!
BTW, WFNNB is the OC, I spoke with someone in their recovery department.
