Wells Fargo Payment Arrangements

So my mom has been trying to make payment arrangements with Wells Fargo so she can keep her car. She agreed to make two scheduled payments on specific days. Instead, WF took out the two payments (immediately, I think), causing her to fall behind on other bills and have to pay NSF fees from her credit union. Now WF is being a jerk about it. Can we do anything? What about for future payments.

Yes, you can.

You can file a dispute with her bank telling them only one payment was authorized, not 2. 

Why is WF being jerks?  It was their doing, not your moms.
