Okay I am a Newbie here and trying to raise my credit score from 638 to the 700club, but need some help understanding what letters to send to creditors when asking to remove something off my credit report when I pay the balance owing in full. For instance I have 2 accts with Progressive that I want to pay in full and have removed from my credit report could someone please tell me what letter to use?
Also I have several accts that will drop off my credit report 5/2009 with $200 and below balances would it help my credit score quicker to pay these balances off and asked to have them removed from my credit report or should I just wait and let them drop off?
