Will combining two cards lower AAOA?

I have 2 quicksilver cards, both about 2 years old. Will combining there credit lines lower my AAOA. Outside of having one less card are there any benefits to combining them?

If combining them closes one of the accounts, the closed account will remain on your report positively impacting your AAoA for the next 10 years even though it's closed.
