My husband and I will be paying off all of our credit cards (around $8,000 total) this week and I'm wondering what effect that might have on our score? We're almost to the limit on a couple of them and others are only about 25% utilization. We have 30% interest on them and my parents have offered to take them on a 0% for us (they have scores in the 800's!!) so we're accepting their VERY generous offer of course! Thanks! Jen
