Re: Would this be considered "Re Aging" the account?

Yes, it is "re-aging" of the account data, but no, it is not improper re-aging.

Last activity is simply the date of reporting of  information that reports a change in account information.  Update of information so as to maintain its accuracy is a statutory requirement.

Improper re-aging is usually used to refer to the update that is in violation of a statutory provision, and is usually used to refer to the DOFD on the OC account, which has very specific statutory reporting requirements under FCRA 623(a)(5).  A DOLA that does not specifically update the DOFD on the OC account in a manner that is contrary to section 623(a)(5) is not improper re-aging.

As long as the DOFD has not changed then the credit reporting time period ( CRTP ) hasn't changed either, so it has not been re~aged.
