I just got a new copy of my credit report and there is a collection from wachovia bank. What happened was that I had made a payment to my credit card from my bank account and no problem I had the money. Then I lost my wallet with checks and debit card so I closed my account the customer service lady was being rude and so I took my money to bank of america. I asked a different teller if the check that I had written to my cc would be stopped she said yes. OK. I go about my business. And now Wachovia is charging me for 950.00 that supposedly corporate funds were used to cover my check. What do I do. I do not have the money to pay them back the 950.00 at this time. I used the money to pay for old CC debt. Can someone help me?
