dispute and MOV in one letter?

Why can't I dispute and request a MOV in one letter instead of writing a letter to dispute... waiting for a response... and then sending an MOV... waiting for response...

??

just send the dispute and ask for MOV all at once?

Until they "verify" there is no MOV to ask for.

What is an MOV letter?

I'm going to try to find it on here, but if not maybe you can explain and/or provide an example?

MOV = Method of Verification

When you dispute with the CRA and they "verify" the account, you have the right to ask for MOV where they have to tell you how they "verified" the account.
