disputing cr problem

I have two accounts that have not been reporting correctly and I have filed an online dispute with Equifax over a year ago. It is still listing those two disputes as "reinvestigation in progress".

Doesnt the CRA only have so long to either confirm or delete such disputes?

What course of action should I take from here?

Re: disputing cr problem

Section 611(a)(1) of the FCRA requires completion of their (the CRAs) investigation of your dispute within 30 days of yur dispute letter, and reporting back to you.

I would file an immediate letter with the CRA, notifying them that they are in non-compliance with section 611(a) of the FCRA, and further that you are filing a formal complaint under section 621 of the FCRA directly with the FTC.

That will wake them up.
