I have a few old addresses on my credit reports, three different ones total. I've moved every year since 2008 because of college and finding roomates. So, the agencies have my correct one on there right now and three others. However, one negative TL is connected to an old address. I want to remove all old addresses...
I have my drivers license, SS card, and proof of address from a utility bill to verify current address. Do I need anything else? I was going to write them and say that I am concerned about identity theft and for them to be removed.
Second, will they delete the negative tradeline associated with the old address? Or will they just say that since it is connected to a negative, they cannot delete the line or address?
I assume my student loans will still stay on there though?
