im really confused now

I sent a PFD to Midland back on 2/14/13.  however about 5 days later i decided to dispute it with EQ and EXP based on other information that I had learned and the TL was removed within 2 days.

I then got a letter from Midland today which is below.  This doesnt seem like they are asking me to pay anything now.  Is this a response to my PFD? or to the CRA's investigating? Im really confused now

Sounds to me like just deleting. No need to pay.

No need to pay them.  It may end up with another CA.

thats no good, i wanted to pay for it, so now it may show up under a new CA and ill get dinged again?

not sure, i havent tried calling them since it was being reported by midland, however they were both reporting a balance so I may try calling them soon, it isnt for very much , i think around 500 dollars.

If they are both reporting a balance that is an indication that the OC still owns the account.  Or the OC sold it and is reporting incorrectly.  Either way you should call and find out.  If they sold it be sure to tell them they are reporting a balance and it has to reflect 0.
