myFico - Experian is Different than experian.com

On my Report on MyFico i show a 30 day late in September of 2013 .. however it ONLY shows on experian (images below). So i was going to go to Experian and request an early exclusion, but to my surprise when viewing info on experian.com it shows the account was paid in full never late (image below).

So that kinda rules out asking for early exclusion bc it isnt on experian, any idea why it is showing on myFico.com?

Possible they may have excluded it already and myFico didnt pick it up since my last 3B report was pulled on 5/1/2020

Possible.  Experian is known to exclude negatives a few months early (usually 3 months) on its own so it's possible it's been removed in the last few days and myFICO's alert system hasn't picked up on the change yet.

So.... Congrats!?

Yes - good way to confirm --- though that screen shot from Experian.com looks like the full report (identical to ACR), not the web-version of EX.

just did that .. still no clue why myFico lists it as a potentially negative. Wouldnt that impact scoring (or at least keep the card dirty - once Ally removes my other baddies)Screen Shot 2020-05-20 at 12.04.59 AM.png

Yes - all negatives impact scoring.

myFICO is often delayed in recognizing and alerting to changes on your reports.  If EX just removed it in the last day or so, then myFICO may not alert you for another day or so -- that is, if the removal is considered an "alertable event" - i think it would be but not 100% sure.  If it's not an alertable event, then you won't get a score update til either an alertable event occurs, or until a new 3B report is pulled.   And even if/when you get a score update, the report on myFICO will continue to show the delinquency because an updated score doesn't result in a new credit report pull... so the old report will still show (with the negative) along with the new score - until a new 3B report is generated.

Don't worry, myFICO will catch up eventually.

You've got them twisted:  EQ is only 1 month early.  EX is 3 months, TU is 6 months.

And since reports pulled from both Experian and ACR are showing the late payment removed -- it's been removed.  it's myFICO that's lagging in updating.

Go ahead and be happy - Congrats again!!

Re: myFico - Experian is Different than experian.com

the account last updated on experian from annualcreditreport is October 3rd 2018 as well. so my question is why is myfico picking up the baddie if it isnt on experian and hasnt been since at least october 2018 (when it was last updated).. and how do i get myFico to reflect that ..... i gotta assume it is also imparting a SMALL less than 1 point penalty.
