I am trying to rebuild credit and open some credit lines I appled for speedway credit card and it said 7-10 days. I then got a letter in the mail saying that they couldnt verify my social security number and address so i was denied and if i had any new information i could mail to that address. How could they not verify from experian and what would i send in a letter to possible get them to reconsider? or should i not bother?
Im trying to establish good credit and improve scores and hoping it will help. My credit card reported the first time and I dropped 26 points could it be because i didnt realize cut date so i have a balance and util hurts scores that much?
