verizon wireless / cca - pay for delete questions

Hello all,

I recently had a verizons collection hit my transunion report.  Called verizon and they claim the debt is now held by cca.  The report says verizon.  Who should I negotiate a pay for delete with?

Call them back and find out if they still own the debt.  If they do tell them you will pay for them deleting and recalling the debt from the CA.

If not do I just need to try for a good will from them?

After you paid, yes.  But you need to make sure the pull the account back from the CA before paying them.  If not you may have that collections show up on your report.
