Re: woo hoo!!! More GW success!

Hey -

I have a Chase CO account. How did you get GW from them? I sent them a GW letter, but received a response back saying they can not remove negative information.

Was your account already paid? Could you let me know the address you sent your letter too? Also.... if possible a copy of the letter. I won't use it, just to get an idea of what to say.

THANKS!

Re: woo hoo!!! More GW success!

My Chase acct was already PIF shortly after it went into collections.

I sent 2 GW's because I have 2 addresses for Chase

Bank One Card Services
800 Brooksedge Blvd
Westerville, OH 43081

Chase Bank

PO Box 15298

Wilmington, DE 19850

The response I got back from Chase was from the second address above, but that may not have been the address that took care of the deletion. So if I were you I'd use both.

I won't post a copy of the letter here but I followed the advice on this forum and wrote them a letter describing my situation. Don't copy the letters here verbatim, tell them your story and humbly ask for help. It works. After you write your letter and before you send it, post some of it here for critique. I'd be happy to help.

Lastly, be persistant. Send a letter every week. You ever see Shawshank Redemption? "If I send them a letter a week, they can't ignore me forever". That's the truth. Sooner or later your letter will fall into the hands of someone willing and able to help. Don't get discouraged. Smiley Happy

Re: woo hoo!!! More GW success!

Nope, send them regular mail with a regular stamp.

Don't forget to post your letter up here, minus personal info, for critique. We're happy to help!
