HIPPAA Help? How can I ...

get this medical collection removed?

- I tried the PFD but the co was very arrogant and would not bulge.

- I've disputed with the 3 CB's and the co verified acct each time.

 

The co RE reported as of 2/09 and caused my credit to plumet 35 points!!!! All of my hard work!!! :smileysad: I am racing against time to purchase a home this yr (tax credit) and trying to get my credit score up.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions? I read the hippaa deal but don't understand can someone explain how it can help?

Is the med collection marked as already disputed/verified? Can you pay it in full if you have to?

I disputed it thru all 3 credit bureaus and they verified each time.

Ok, but is there any notation on your credit reports that this med collection has been disputed and verified?

No it doesnt say those words exactly - disputed and verified. You can verify below though. But take a special note of the highlighted commented under Transunion and Experian. Do note I disputed through all 3 cbureaus.

Its unlikely the CRAs will accept another dispute at this time. I would wait six months, then use the HIPAA letter process.
