Family Money Versus My Own Ambitions

I have a lot of pride, but I'm slowly coming to this realization that I'm... mediocre. I have big ideas, but I have median skills. I feel as though I'm going to invariably have to return to my parents for some support. None of my businesses have gone anywhere, and my mind's grown lazy.

When you say "businesses"...does that mean you are attempting to make a living based solely on self-employment or starting new businesses?

If you can give us more background information, I'm sure there are folks here who will give you some words of wisdom.
