Update: I have my car back, 100% fixed. The body shop was touch and go, but the results are amazing. The wrong part was order twice, and then once they got the right part, they painted it the wrong color. They didn't charge me any extra for the error. And the final invoice was about $400 dollars lower then the original quote. Final price out the door was $5,100. Never lending my car out again. Mother in law hasn't said two word to me all month. Might invite her over for a cookout to break the ice.

For some people, this might be worth the $5100.
(Sorry, couldn't resist.)
Seriously though, congrats on getting your car fixed.
So what was with the dash lights? And, she hit both sides of the garage door?? Sorry to hear all this. Glad it's fixed.
Did you pay with a cash back card? ![]()
Yeah she hit both sides of the car and kind of scraped her way into the garage. My car has crash detection and parking sensor and they were damaged which was causing the dash lights. And some of them are built directly into the bumper. So you can't just remove the bumper and replace it. The whole piece is wired up to the computer. And once its damaged you get the error code on the dash from the collision detection and parking sensors not working when the car starts. I put the whole thing on a 12 month interest free card(local bank). I've been making small payment on it since. After the new year I have a best buy card with 18 months interest free i'm paying off a new washer and dryer that's almost a year old. And I have a Ashley card I brought my son a bed for his birthday interest free for 12 months. I want to pay hem both off first. Then move that cash over to the car card.
