I usually watch this program and wondering, how would you know if someone was trying to do something with your home's equity?

I always hear on Sirius Radio a commerical about home title lock.  Seems like a scam to me but I really don't know.

Home Title Lock is a scam, per a Title Rep.  

My wife is the Title Rep, asked her about this, she does not see what they are selling that you could not do yourself, and if in fact they are even doing anything.
