Any update on Stimulus rebate IRS paper checks?

Got mine today, right on schedule - it was supposed to be issued no later than 6/13. Heading to the bank to deposit it & pay off Discover.

I got a letter informing me to expect my check by July 5. BUT- it's "under review". Government at work.

I'm 62 and received ours back in May.

I just found out I didn't qualify.

I got letter on 8th saying I would get it 11th.  We'll see.

Ditto.

But then said if I didn't get it in 6 weeks, give them a call!!

Yeah, we just got the letter, too.  Hope our wonderful post office doesn't sit on it for weeks...  It's taken over 2 weeks sometimes for a check (always a check, never a bill) to go about 20 miles from the east end of the city to the south side.

We didn't get one paid in this year.. but we did get a letter stating that they took all our money and our now debt-free to gov't. haha...
