I was afraid this would happen.....ugh.

I know what a lot of you must think...."who cares?" The funny thing is that if one simply turned the 'US BANK' and 'Visa' logos clockwise, one "click" it would be back to normal LOL. So to play devils advocate, yeah, it is not a big deal, but it is also absurd that the banks think changing the way we see the bank name and network just a little bit makes it easier to use Smiley LOL

I will continue to complain Smiley Very Happy

^This. Me too!!!

I mean, okay, I understand things change. I've seen a lot in my 60+ years. But a nonsensical change like this, that serves no practical purpose, really, what's the point? Figuring out how to position the card for touchless paying is no more difficult than it ever was for other types of payment, like at a gas pump: you pull the card out of your wallet, turn it so the side with the magnetic strip matches the little figure on the pump, and stick it in. I don't really need the card oriented a certain way for me to figure that out!

Agreed. And I end up having to mess with my card anyway by moving it around to get the contactless to even work.

Its like a bored, recent marketing grad decided that it would be cool.....I sent US Bank a message on Facebook about how I did not care for it and got a canned response "thank you for your feedback and we are sorry we disappointed you." Thats fine Mr. Annonymous Andy US Bank employee...I'm not done complaining LOL.

The contactless signal is best where the wave signal is on the card. Put the wave next to the antenna on the terminal and it should always go through if you wait 1-2sec. You should not need to frantically move it around.
