I wasn't really a fan, but it's always a shame when someone passes before their time.  I was sorry to hear this.

I was really sad to hear this, as well. I loved his set in The Kings of Comedy.

And don't forget Skip Caray, longtime Atlanta Braves announcer. As a lifelong Braves fan, I listened to him call games every day for over 15 years.

Bernie Mac's publicist said that the pneumonia wasn't related to his sarcoidosis, but I can't believe it wasn't a partial factor. Pulmonary sarcoidosis makes it harder for the lungs to stretch.

Reggie White died of/with sarcoidosis. (Green Bay/UT "Minister of Defense") He was 43.

Uncle Bernie will be missed.  I appreciated his comedy and his down to earth nature. He will truly be missed but heaven is in stitches right now laughing at his jokes.
