CSR metal card timeframe

Getting the card because its metal is dumb. I do have the ritz card and stay at marriott hotels "platinum member" and use the ritz card 90% for hotels and 10% for HIGH END restaurants. I also got the C$R and will be using that for day to day spending.
My plan is saving points with both cards and in 10 years when my kids are both out on there own. Me and my wife will take a around the world trip all 1st class and all Ritz or High end marriotts.
I figure i need 1.5 million in Marriott points and 750k in C$R Points.
Metal cards are nice but if you dont use the benifits they become WORTHLESS.

It looks like they have finally caught up, my CSR came yesterday and it's the metal one.

I'm going to wait and see if gorilla glass cards become an option.
