Comcast credit check when moving?

My experience is that there is an option of no credit check, but you have to make sure you opt out to get the option of no credit check with a deposit, otherwise they check equifax.

I called Comcast today and requested a transfer. Two customer service representatives each said there would be no credit check as my payment record with them was solid (more than six months; an out-of-state move might be different, I don't know). So far no hard pulls on my reports. By the way, I got my rate lowered for the next twelve months and higher after that; of course, they don't know that I may well move again then, lol.
