Displaying your credit cards

I notice some members in these forums display what credit cards they have which reveals their account numbers. Not sure if that is such a good idea in this age of identity theft.

Nobody is displaying their credit cards here.  If so, the post is often reported and corrected by mods, since it is against the forum terms of use.

I gotcha. So when I see what credit cards someone displays that they have those aren't the real account numbers. I was going to say that would be reckless.

Re: Displaying your credit cards

If you are talking about members who post card images in their signatures, those are generic card images publicly available on the internet... not their actual cards.

That's what I was talking about Dave. After I started this thread I realized they had to be generic card images. Thanks for responding.
