Do you have a Capital One Image Card?

Sounds great if I can find a Card Design I really like, but I always thought: What are the quality on these things?

I used to, actually three versions. Cut them up today. To answer your question, as long as you provide a high resolution image, they look excellent.

I've had a few personalized cards from them. Quality really wasn't up to snuff for either. The images looked okay, but the card itself didn't look cool with the huge Capital One logo and the numbers on top of the picture. I had one with my dogs and I used a straight black picture to create some sort of black card for the other. The black card looked especially bad. It was overly glossy and the white edges and the Capital One logo made it look like a fake cardboard card that comes with wallets you buy at Burlington. The cards itself were pretty bendy and because they were so glossy they scratched up really fast. Just went back to the OG card bruh.

In fact, I actually was erroneously sent a Spark card as a replacement for my Quicksilver card when they were releasing chip & sigs so I just use that since I think Spark looks way better than QS.

I actually just got mine in the mail yesterday, it looks great. The only thing I noticed is that the card seems to be thinner, more flexible. Not sure what that means in terms of quality, but the card itself looks great.

The quality of the custom cards is mehhhh. Flimsy and doesn't look right from my experiences. Wishing I would have a good experience one time though! lol

I would only be considering very high resolution pics. Like 4K. For some reason i'm assuming it will somehow have a declined quality. Like, you can't get as detailed as want to go.

And this talk of a flimsier card has me worried, and glossy? Doesn't sound good.

Usually what people like to do is try to create an exclusive look, adding the words prestige and platinum and reserved. But no matter what, it really wouldn't compare to something professionally done. That and the fact that if you wanted to take high resolution imagery from tv or video games, you wouldn't be allowed.

And Capital One just redesigned their platinum credit cards to a new metallic look which looks way better than they used to look. white and gray.

I had one made with an upside down American flag. I called in about the account one day and they asked me if I wanted them to fix the card image and send me a new one. I informed them the card was serving it's purpose and I liked it just the way it was.  I don't have it anymore since it went Quicksilver. Make sure its a great quality picture and you will be good.

I've had 3 custom image card designs so far.  Currently, I have the image from the Sistene Chapel of the Creation of Man, with hands reaching out and fingers nearly touching...always wanted to have a copy of that particular picture, so now that I finally have one, I'm pretty happy lol
