I have the Capital One Savor card and when I first opened it I had changed the card image. Capital One has since discontinued image cards, but I just added a new user and instead of issuing them a stainless steel Savor card, the system decided to print the user my image card instead. In addition, the digital versions of the cards on our iPhones and Apple Watches do not show the original Savor card either. Just a blue-gray card that has the Capital One logo in the middle and the old Mastercard logo. Has anyone here been able to revert from an image card back to the original by calling customer service?
I got a savor one in november, my card is a tannish/orange/gold color plastic card.
I have Savor which is supposed to be stainless steel, but instead I just have a plastic image card with raised numbers and no mention of Savor anywhere. I opened it back when it was a free card and so I am grandfathered into it being free. Later they made Savor have more features and be $95/year for new customers and they also introduced SavorOne which is still plastic.

The card i have is savor one with zero annual fee. it says savor in big letters on the front of the card.
But has anyone been able to revert from image card to original recently? I tried calling them and the employees I talked to couldn't help me, although I hear that with Capital One it depends on who you happen to be talking to. That's why I need to know who to ask to be transferred to.
I have been able to eons ago when my first quicksilver card offered image cards. For me to switch back it took a little bit. At the time I had asked them over Facebook and they originally sent a replacement card with the same image I had uploaded.
Let them know i was trying to get the default quicksilver image and they sent the correct one the 2nd time..
I never noticed the Savor is stainless steel. Probably because I detest the look of it. I had a custom image card that they supposedly sent a new one when it expired but I never received it. Like Discover I had more than one valid card, and I still have the original card. I'll be interested to see which card I will receive when this one expires.

I actually really like the design of the stainless steel Savor card. It fits in with the theme of dining in that it is designed to resemble cookware. Like I said, I unfortunately don't have that one and I need to know who at Capital One has been able to go into the system responsible for issuing cards and change it so it gives me the stainless steel Savor card instead of printing my image card, since if you had selected an image card back then, the system will still print you your image card when a new one is to be issued. And the card in Apple Pay isn't the stock Savor card either. Just a blue-gray card with the Capital One logo in the middle and the old Mastercard logo. This tells me that the system that issues cards to devices is the same one that issues physical cards.
@BijouMan, I just had my Quicksilver image card replaced with a standard Quicksilver card by calling in and asking. I'd assume that the drill would be the same for the Savor.

I called in and the employee I got said it was not possible. Looking around, it seems that Capital One customer service can be spotty, so that is why I need to know what exactly to ask for.
