Re: Highest STARTING limits?

My top CL are:

BofA Cash Rewards: 6000

Chase Amazon Visa: 4000

Citi DC: 4000

Approx annual income: 40K

I think the thread question should've been"whats highest CL/SL   "PLUS" ballpark income?" as the CL for someone with 30K income vs someone with 150k income will obviously be different! and doesn't give sufficient data points for comparing with others.

5k+ CLs: Chase Amazon, Cap1 QS1,
10k+ CLs: BofA Cash Rewards, Amex Cash Magnet, Citi DC, Barclays Uber, Citi Premier, Chase Saphire Preff,Cap1 Savor1

Torch bearer of the Bucketeers' Society. Shamefully carrying a bucketed Cap One QS1 with AF & zero chance of a PC.

Re: Highest STARTING limits?

These are post-rebuild numbers because I don’t remember exact approval numbers from before.

PayPal Cashback - $8000
Discover IT - $7500
NFCU Platinum - $7200
SSFCU Power Cash Back Rewards WMC - $5000

May not seem very high but for someone who gets about $18K a year on SSDI, they’re pretty impressive. SSFCU and Discover were both March of last year, NFCU was December, and PayPal was this past January.

I have gone from $9250 between three cards last March to $54,350 revolving credit now.

Re: Highest STARTING limits?

I had 2 with $20k starting limits that I received withing weeks of each other:

  • CapOne MC (2012) and still the same.
  • MBNA MC which is now a Visa (2012) and now $41k

I nearly fell out my chair out of shock because I was expecting only $7k limits.

Starting Score: EQ 732 October 2007; Current Score: EQ 839; TU 865, July 2022;
Oldest Reporting EQ Account: 20.4 years; EQ AAoA: 9.9 years;

Re: Highest STARTING limits?

Can I ask you what was your income and fico score when you applied and got approved for Capital one Venture card with $30k SL?
And does that card have an annual fee?
Thank you!
