How do you like the new Experian site?

My only compaint so far is that it's now an ads page to promote credit cards. On the landing page there are 3 links/suggestions to view rewards cards. Kind of pushy IMO.

I spent so many hours on the previous version that I could fly through the various sections and get pertinent info in a snap.

Anyone prefer this setup so far?

Im not a fan. You have to really know your way around their site, or you might be signing up for something you didn't want, like monitoring. I just caught this recently upon trying to pay for just a report....they can be sneaky Smiley Wink

Great offering! My site with Experian has been the new version for some time and it has been interesting. As always, it seems someone sets up a new mouse trap for us. My rule of thumb today: "trust no one" and go from there Smiley Wink

Re: How do you like the new Experian site?

I think the Experian site, both the old & new,  is a dog's breakfast -- a poorly organized jumble.

And their Identity Protection offering is hopeless -- there's no way to turn off/disable/clear the top 'alert' (the number in a purple circle) if one doesn't want to supply the requested information (and I don't & won't).

Wretched site.  Despise it.

(I am fond of the MyFICO site, tho'.  Also like the Discover FICO score display -- I think it's elegant).

Re: How do you like the new Experian site?

When did the site change?

The slowest and most glitchy site is Equifax, by far. But, their site is also the least intrusive.

I'd say from a monitoring standpoint, I prefer Transunion's site, over Experian; because, I feel like I have to refigure out how to navigate the Experian monitoring, all the time.

Neither, EX or TU can take a hint when it comes to clearing alert notifications.

Transunion sends out the most spam emails.

Experian probably has the best actual credit report dispute site, in terms of, continuity and user friendliness. They even link every single account to a historical address, so that you can more easily investigate the source of any mishaps.

But, Experian is also the only credit bureau that charges for Credit Lock; and the alternative, of a state freeze... takes a day to lift, when you need to apply.

Overall, I think we should assimilate all of them, in favor of a credit United Nations; a world agency that governs credit worthiness, domestically and internationally. - Both technologically and economically... it's time.

Okay, this is weird... I can't seem to find the Experian Dispute website, any longer. When clicking on Dispute, it is forcing a redirect to sign up for their monitoring product.

If they don't fix this nonsense, Experian will be downgraded on my list to last.
