Is there a way to apply for the Generic Elan "Max Cash" card design or am I stuck with one of the CU designs? I don't like any of the credit union designs at all.

You could take your chances and apply by using one of the generic links, or you might want to look at my (now rather dated) list of the beautiful cards.
