Hypothetical scenario: Prestige vs purchasing power

So this topic of prestige was alluded to in another recent post.

I decided to throw this out there and ask the community.  If you could only have one card, would you rather have:

A)  The Recherché Card with a $100 limit or

B)  Renting my Rims card with a $10,000 limit

I know the choices are ironic juxtapositions- this is just for fun.

{Mods- this may need to goto the smorgas board}

Definitely the Recherche' Card, ... but only with the stipulation that I must also pay a $1,000 annual fee and get no rewards.  Smiley Tongue

Seriously, though, if I were to elect the prestige card, that $100 limit is effectively useless for anyone I would be trying to impress.  It would hardly buy an appetitzer and drinks at a five-star restaurant!  Lol  Perhaps instead of focusing on the credit limit, turn the equation and offer a card with an AF but no rewards versus a no-AF and ridiculously high rewards such as 10% back on all purchases, uncapped, with the Renting My Rims card.
