So right now on New accounts my /6 and /12 numbers look good (0/6 and 4/12 respectively) but that darn 14/24 is ugly.
In another thread I mentioned I was recently declined for Citi Custom Cash being 0/6 and 4/12 and one of the reasons was they were looking back at my new accounts the last 3 YEARS! OUCH!
So they say misery likes company , so I wanna hear from those of you who are in my 14/24 range or higher and want to app but don't or have apped and got declined. I figure it might make for some interesting reading.
I'm at 8/24, not quite where you are, but enough to roadblock me from any cards on my wish list. It'll be 7 months or so before that starts to go down.

What's the first card on your hit list?
For the next 10 days I'm at 11/24, tgen i drop downto 10/24
New accounts, I'm 8/24. I'll be 7/24 new accounts in a few days and I'll be stuck at 7/24 till 03/23 😵💫. I wanted that Citi Custom Cash and this post just discouraged me for applying for it when I'm 0/12 inquires next year August 😭.

That three year bit hurts on the Custom Cash, makes me really wonder when I'll be able to get it. Are we going to start tracking /36 for Citi?
And I am in a similarish boat - currently 1/6, 6/12, 12/24. In January I'll be 0/6, 4/12, 10/24 but if I wait until May I'll be 0/6, 1/12, 9/24. The plan has been to wait until May to be 1/12 for Cash+ but now I'm wondering if I go Affinity Cash Rewards in January and push back Cash+ to July. My credit scores will likely jump in June or July (a 120 day late will fall off) so it may be the better move.
EQ = 0/24
TU = 0/48
EX = 2/24
Sick of all these financial institutions loving EX so much.
ETA: I thought this was inquiries...derp. No new accounts in 4 years. Great feeling.
Looking back at my past apps, apparently I actually got as high as 21/24 at one point.
I'm down to 4/24 and 1/12 now. I'm holding out a little longer to let some inquiries fall off so I can app for the Elan MCP. Then I'll go for the CSP after I let another /24 fall off... and maybe wait for a higher SUB.
I'm 8/24 which is why I was denied the C1 Savor this summer. I think I have all the cards I want now so that number will be going down as I garden. Ironic.
7/24 here. January ill be back down to 4/24 and look somewhat respectable again FICO says 1-2 per year is optimal. Thats crazy talk for members of this forum
