Since a couple of months ago, there is no credit card ads sending to my mailbox. Before, I would got a ton of them in my mailbox. Now, feels like I have less burdon but a little strange. Anyone experienced this before?
Might be for the same reason Comenity, Synchrony and others are doing CLDs and making people send in tax forms to prove their income. Strangely, I am above 770 on all bureaus and don't get much of anything in the mail on pre-approvals either. The golden age of easy credit is possibly coming to an end. Did the same banks who got a bailout from the Bush administration think they would get another one if they continued their same policies? Easy credit was a theme just before The Great Depression. I went through 20 credit cards since July 2014. About to cancel 2 more and be down to 8. I got them while the gittin' was good.
