Is Omaha the birthplace of credit cards?

I was on vacation for a week, had a couple of recently completed apps.  When I got home, in my mail, I had my new penfed PCR, wells fargo autograph, and a replacement for an expiring cap one card... all in envelopes from the same po box in Omaha, Nebraska.  I just thought this was interesting.

This topic title is very misleading lol. It makes it sound like you're talking about Omaha being the place where credit cards were first "invented" so to speak, as opposed to the place where all cards are manufactured/shipped out from.
