I kept wondering if those partially peeled-down slinky high-tech swim suits were going to, ummm, keep rolling down of their own accord.

Wardrobe malfunction at the Olympics!

Does anyone know if they bothered to broadcast the cross-country phase of the equestrian three-day eventing? They always show the dressage and stadium jumping, but I never get to see the cross-country. I was driving home from the beach.


edit to add: and I suppose I'm an old poop, but I miss the days when lots of coverage was given to events where the US wasn't expected to medal. I root for the home team, but I also root for everyone from map-dot countries that managed to wangle a spot at the Olympics. I actually want to know who comes in 47th in the marathon! Any parent who had kids who played competitive sports and at the college level should know the feeling. It's like they're all my kids, or at least, nieces and nephews.
