Curious to read reactions to the obvious bots replying to posts here as New Visitors with random names. Makes me wonder if they are "MF approved" or just tolerated.

Not much they can do until they throw solicitations, or spam out there. The responses seeming like AI are often ignored, but every now and again those get called out by other members (raises hand, guilty).

Definitely not tolerated; whenever I come across an obvious bot response I report it and it is usually taken down.

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

I have definitely seen some BOT responses that appear to be Fico AI BOTs. The response regurgitates Fico text verbatim but are out of context with the message string. Some sanctioned BOTs even have member designations - imo
Other BOTs have invaded MyFICO that are independent actors. They are visitors and their messages are often removed.
A bit of a bump, but I have seen so many obvious bot AI posts by "new visitors" with odd and uncessary recap of OP's post or generic google AI response, including a hidden url link (seen as blue underscore but can see link addres when hovering cursor). Usernames usually of a name/#/name.
Many since start of new year, have repored at least 7 individual accounts to mods so far to do my duty. Thank goodness for a moderated forum and why I feel it much better here than the chaos that is "social media".

I just saw one of these on another board. Good description, @KatzNDawgs. This was name/3-digit #/name and regurgitated OP's posting in reorganized words. It was a new account and their first post. I reported and MOD took it down shortly thereafter.
