I ended up using the App but still can't help loving a gold card. 
Starting Score: 675i didnt know you had too transfer balances to the gold card....
anyways i did and my original card dissapeared from the app.
i still have it though.
i havent given the card too anyone (since i use the app) but its almost as awesome as giving someone my amex unicorn card 
Got mine in while staying in Orlando.
Tragically, nearest Starbucks store is on the thruway. My poor gold card sits on the desk... Mocking me for not having the courage to be broke in a nicer place.

yeah I wanted to use it in moheagan sun(its a casino up here) and sadly I didn't have it on me- surprisingly they didn't have the scanner so the guy had to manually punch it in. Oh well.
There is like 2 starbucks within decent driving distance so its not like I have many choices lol.
I'll be back in Orlando for a week. Can't wait to sit outside Starbucks with coffee and soak up the sun.

thinking about hitting miami in april! got my schedule for march already and i dont have any days off together soo... oh well.
