Shop for new house, but don't spend...wait till I am actually in. Design back yard Knit, knit and knit...when I am not playing my Nintendo DS (yes, I am 50 years old !) Sort of interesting juxtaposition, old lady knitter and plays video games. Spend quality time with the dog. Community work, Soroptimist, Hospital foundation and a Womans Wine club.

That's cool. At times, I miss the innocence of my children being so young. When DD#1 was about 3, she had a "bubble lawnmower". She would walk behind me, as I mowed the lawn and do clean up. Her little bubbles floating all through the sky. How quickly they grow. She is now driving her own car and finishing up the 11th grade...applying to colleges...*shudder*

I'm on vacation this week.  Haven't gone anywhere, but don't have to work either.

If my activities during this vacation have been any indication of what I do for fun, I have only one answer:

SLEEP!

Seriously, I've been sleeping about 12 hours a day this week.  This always happens when I don't have a set schedule to adhere to.

Lately?  Sewing, sewing, sewing, sewing, and occasional leatherwork.

MrMS and I need to finish our medieval pavilion and another 4-7 outfits before Pennsic.  I'm going to be making a lotttt of shirts, petticoats, pants, and chemises...  I'm so glad I have a serger!

The new embroidery machine is really sweet, though- I'm not going to have to hand-hem my skirts any more!!!  It has a blind-hem stitch that actually works and decorative stitches that I can use for a "shh, this line of fancy embroidery is actually holding the cuff to the sleeve". 

For real stress relief, though, nothing beats a warm fuzzy purring pile of kitties.  I'll lay down in bed to read, and very shortly thereafter, I'll have a cat next to my feet, one or two curled up under my elbow(s), one settling herself on my thighs, and another draped across my pillow.  As they start purring, all the stress melts away...

Besides my new obsession with fico scores...lol.

Not much spare time.  I have fun with my kids.  I have fun at work. 

For the summer we have:

"Monday Night Game Night"

"Friday Night Movie Night"

Monday we played Twister, Chinese Checkers and Clue! 

Last Friday we rented the OLD Superman!!!!!!! 

I teach cycle/spinning classes and have a ton of fun doing that. 

We hang out at the beach a lot in the summer.  Sometimes, I'll drive out to the beach and journal or sketch.  I need to do it more.

I really want to start yoga classes.  My inner self is needing some 'calm' to balance out my busy life.  I plan to start July 3rd.

DH and I like geocaching as well.

I am an avid reader.  I love playing games, watching movies, financial planning, being obsessed with FICO, and family time.

Lots of people on here mentioned exercise as a hobby.  I hate it but I workout 5-6 days/week.  Unless I include swimming...I LOVE swimming!

Tomorrow we are taking our nephew to the zoo.

I like hiking and backpacking with my dog (and a lot of the time people, too).  And he loves it too.

Have you ever heard of letterboxing?  It's similar to geocaching, I had never heard of it til another dog packer told me about it.

Yep, if you do get into geocaching there are cords. to letterboxes too. Instead of trading swag you just place your stamp on the log.

I use geocaching as an escape...it's my hobby, so I don't tend to take a dog or people along  lol

I play bass in a couple of bands throughout Hampton Roads and up and down the east coast a bit. That's pretty fun.

I also like to drink, watch Atlanta Braves baseball, go on road trips, hang out with friends, watch UFC, and shoot guns recreationally.
