I don't, someone else does... I just do an image search, click on "view image in new window", copy that addy and then insert it into the line of code... Easy peasy!!

I just tried that but the line of code was too long. It exceeded the 10k character limit

Try a different site then... That's how all of mine are set up, so it shouldn't be that big of an issue.
In detail: I use Google Chrome. Image search, find a pic, click on it, it brings it up in the middle of the page. 4 selections to the right, click view image in new window then copy the web addy that shows in the address bar of that new window.

It's generally a small thing but you're really not supposed to do what you are doing. By linking to some other site's image, you are using their bandwidth which costs money (just ask Photobucket). Some companies have taken action against people who do this in the past and it's not very safe as the other site could easily change their image to a naked hippopotamus or worse and then you're responsible for what you are showing. It is very easy just to host the images yourself at a free site like imgur.com and then use those links in your signature.

Well I definetly don't want a naked hippopotamus in my siggy lol. I just made an imgur.com account but now only half of my siggy works...
