Used my Platinum Saks credit

I bought three pairs of socks.

The remainder of my Saks Fifth Avenue Wardrobe will have to be aspirational for the time being. Maybe a shirt next time.

Still, it’s money back from the Platinum, so I am not complaining.

Yeah, the Sak’s credit is useless IMO.

Ebates was supposed to give me 10x on the purchase, but the points never posted.

I get plenty of value from the travel perks, so the Saks credit is just a nice extra.

It’s still a $50 Credit, so that’s nice. The prices are much higher at Saks of course, but the clothing quality I saw in the stores looks good too. The effect of this, as with many AMEX offers, is to get you in the store, so it worked for me Saturday. 

Then yesterday I used a Hugo Boss promo for “spend $250, get 5,000 MR” on some dress shirts. Learned they alter the sleeves as standard, so another “get you in the store” that worked on me.  I usually shop Nordstrom, but the selection was better in the Hugo Boss store.  

I’ll be back to both stores eventually.

I used mine too; I bought some makeup online and the credit posted super fast.  I don't normally shop at Sak's so it was fun to see what I could get for "free".
